Deals Rummy

Deals Rummy follows all Indian Rummy rules. It depends on the game.

Pool Rummy Rules:

Each player brings money to the table and gets 13 cards from a well-shuffled deck of cards. The open deck is formed by placing the first card face up and the rest face down (this includes the closed deck). Attempt 2 melds, either 2 pure sequences, 1 impure sequence, or 1 pure sequence + 1 set. If valid, the player wins with 0 points.

Each card carries points as follows:

  • Ace: 10 points (but may differ from place to place and people to people).
  • The Kings, Queens, and Jacks receive ten points, while the Joker gets zero points.
  • Points for numerical cards are the same as for face value.

Points Rummy Rules:

Players of points rummy have the opportunity to play with two to six other players. The remaining cards are piled up on the table. A closed deck is formed by showing the first card in a pile and hiding the rest. There are 2 pure sequences, 1 impure sequence, or 1 pure sequence and 1 set.

Each card carries points as follows:

  • Ace scores are based on 10 points (although this can vary from place to place and person to person.)
  • Each King, Queen, and Jack receives ten points.
  • Points have the same value as their face value.

Deals Rummy Rules:

There are 2 to 6 players in the game. A closed deck is formed by placing the undealt cards face down in an open deck. Players must discard one card from each hand every turn. For a player to win, they must create two melds (2 pure sequences and 1 impure sequence).

Each card carries points as follows:

  • Ace (but may vary from place to place and person to person)
  • Each of the Kings, Queens, and Jacks gets 10 points
  • The same amount of points as the face value
